SELF ESTEEM

True self-worth has nothing to do with what others think of you and everything to do with what you think of yourself.

Many of us grow up with the belief that achieving success requires relentless hard work, grim determination and intense ambition. So we struggle for years to reach our goals but wind up feeling exhausted, our lives out of balance. Such desperate striving isn’t necessary or even desirable.

In the natural world, creation comes forth with ease. A seed doesn’t struggle to become a tree – it simply unfolds in grace. As human beings we need to connect in a meaningful way to nature’s quiet, effortless success. When we put ourselves in harmony with nature, we create a bond between our own desires and the power to make those desires materialize.

Your spirit is the place that gives you self-esteem. When you truly understand yourself, then you are independent of both the good and the bad opinions of others. You are fearless. You become more intuitive, more creative and develop a vision for what you really want.

Everything that is alive is an example of the elegant expression of nature’s intelligence, which operates through seven spiritual laws – powerful principles you can use daily to fulfill your deepest desires with effortless joy. As you put them into practice, you will realize, that you can manifest whatever you have been dreaming about.

SEVEN SPIRITUAL LAWS OF SUCCESS
(from the book written by Deepak Chopra)

LAW OF PURE POTENTIALITY Take time to be silent – to just be. Meditate. Silently witness the intelligence within every living. Try not to make judgments, but just accept what is.

LAW OF GIVING Today, bring whoever you encounter a compliment or a smile. Gratefully receive gifts. Keep wealth circulating in your life by giving and receiving care, affection, appreciation and love.

LAW OF KARMA Every action generates a force of energy that return to us in a like kind. Choose actions today that will bring happiness and success to others, and you will ensure the flow of happiness and success to you.

LAW OF LEAST EFFORT Accept people, situations and events as they occur. Take responsibility for your situation and for all events seen as problems. Relinquish the need to defend your point of view.

LAW OF INTENTION AND DESIRE Inherent in every intention and desire are the mechanics for its fulfillment. Make a list of your desires. Thrust that when things don’t seem to go your way, there is a reason.

LAW OF DETACHMENT Allow yourself and others the freedom to be who they are. Don’t force solutions but allow the answers to spontaneously emerge. Uncertainty is essential and is your path to freedom.

LAW OF DHARMA Seek you higher self. Discover your unique talents. Ask yourself how you are best suited to serve humanity. Using your unique talents to serve others brings unlimited bliss and abundance.

LOVE YOURSLF

The eight maxims below will help you build self-worth and confidence in your abilities:

1. no matter what you have done or haven’t done, you are worthy of love.

2. You don’t need fixing – everything you need to feel good about yourself and make others feel good about you is already there.

3. Identify your real values – the things you cherish most in life – then set personal goals that sit comfortably with these values.

4. Realize that other people have different values. You don’t need to have the same values to be compatible.

5. Accept that, whatever our circumstances, all of us oscillate between being up and down. You will be happy and sad, nice and mean, generous and greedy, polite and rude at times. It’s all part of being human.

6. You are the culmination of those intangible, ineffable treasures of the soul, which we can also call the riches of the mind: your intention and inspiration your receptiveness and perceptiveness, your intellect and reason. Each of these gems can be brought to a high shine, no matter how old or young you are.

7. Each of us has an incredible, immortal mind – consciousness – and it is an intelligent and creative force. That’s who we really are.

8. Work at developing the seven essential spheres of life – spiritual, mental, social, vocational, financial, familial and physical. Keeping a daily record for a month of what you did in each area to further your life will help you to recognize your contribution and growth, and build self-worth.

DO YOU FEEL INTIMIDATED BY PEOPLE? Feeling intimidated by people whom we think are more powerful than us makes us feel introverted and inclined to give up before we even start. Remember that you have the power – and that you are exaggerating theirs.

ARE YOU TIRED ALL THE TIME? When we do more, our energy levels actually increase, but when we get lost in negative thoughts, our energy levels drop. Never underestimate the healing power of just a short walk each day to clear the head and re-energize.

ARE YOU CONSTANTLY SLEF-DEPRECATING? When we constantly beat ourselves up with internal negative dialogue, our external language can also become self-defeating. Telling ourselves that we are inadequate can lead to addictive patterns, such as binge drinking or overeating, as we try to make up for what we perceive we lack by over-compensating in other areas.

DO YOU FANTASISE ABOUT HOW GREAT YOUR LIFE IS SUPPOSED TO BE? Low self-esteem is often accompanied by a desire to live in a fantasy world where we have unrealistic expectations about how life should be. Unrealistic expectations can make us angry, negative and critical.

DO YOU BLAME OTHERS FOR YOUR OWN MISFORTUNE? Even thought our frustration is with ourselves, it’s easy to find someone else to pick on, such as your partner or your parents. You need to pay close attention to what you’re saying to them because your words are really meant for yourself.

DO YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR APPEARANCE? When we don’t take the time to look after ourselves each day, we tend to give up. Keep up your fitness regimen and social interactions and your sense of wellbeing will follow.

SPIRITUAL HEALTH

FIRST >> AWARENESS
Being spiritually healthy Is a matter of remembering and forgetting. Remembering to give your attention to the Truth and forgetting everything else.

Let’s define Heaven as a state of being that is unlimited, and Hell as a state of being that is limited. We should give all our attention solely to what resides in Heaven. Should we find ourselves entertaining something limited with our attention, we put it down, forget it, and give our attention back to heaven. Surrender your awareness to what lives in heaven and you’ll be unlimited.

Each of us decides where we go with our attention. We have sovereignty over our own mind. How much attention you freely surrender back to Prime Source, the unlimited, will determine the health of your free will.

SECOND >> RELATIONSHIPS
How healthy are your relationships? Every person on the planet is God consciousness. We do not have it, we are it. Because all of us are an expression of God consciousness, how we treat other people is how we treat God.

You can take all the vitamins you want, eat healthy, fresh foods, exercise regularly, drink plenty of water, sleep eight hours nightly, but if you go through your day criticizing yourself and others, finding fault and blame in yourself and others, intimidating, disrespecting or bullying others, gossiping from a mean-spirited heart, or withholding help and compassion from others, then you are deeply spiritually unhealthy. The primary symptom of this is unhappiness.

THIRD >> BE CREATIVE
We are here on Earth to create enlightenment from ignorance. Healthy consciousness is creative. When we are spiritually healthy we are creating a new response to old issues, growing beyond them. Unhealthy consciousness recreates the old issues over and over again, without breaking the cycle and expanding beyond the grasp of unhappiness. Recreating old issues with same responses is to align ourselves with fear.

Practice being creative. Create a new response to old issues, resist giving into your old, ingrained one!

Claim your spiritual health!
It is your birthright!
Then live it, share it, and SHINE ON!

A GUIDE TO MEDITATION

Meditation is perhaps the most fundamental tool there is to get in touch with our spirit. When we meditate we enter the field of infinite possibilities, the gap between our thoughts. People meditate for all sorts of reasons: to sleep well, to unwind or overcome stress. Meditation will give you all these things, but its true purpose is spiritual development.

When you meditate, one of the three things can happen: first you might get restless or anxious, which indicates that you need to meditate more. Second, you may get drowsy and even fall asleep. This means you need more sleep.

The third experience is entering the gap between your thoughts. When this happens, you might get a tingling feeling. This sensation is the activation of your prana (life force).

By quieting your mind with this technique, you will silence your internal dialogue and get in touch with your soul.

To begin meditation, sit comfortably with your hands open on your knees. Observe your breath going in and out, with your eyes closed. Every time you breathe in, mentally repeat SO and then HUM when the breath goes out.

As you practice the SO-HUM mantra, you might feel sensations in your body or hear sounds in the environment, but try to focus on the mantra. Once your mind and body are quiet, inner energy is spontaneously awakened.

2012 – WHAT WILL HAPPEN?

by Diana Cooper

As this date approaches more and more people are asking what is going to happen on 21st December, 2012 – and what afterwards.

WHAT IS 11:11

The moment of 11:11 on the 21st December 2012 marks the end of the 26,000 year outbreath of Brahma or Source. There will be a cosmic moment of silence throughout the universe, during which time anything can happen.

Kumeka says that, based on the current consciousness 11% of the population will become enlightened and could ascend at the cosmic moment, most of them choosing to remain in a physical body carrying a higher level of light.

He said that the vast masses at the third dimension had not progressed as hoped and were holding everything back. However, they will be very much affected by the climate of change, depending on the level of mass consciousness. We have important work to do.

The majority of those currently at the fourth dimension will rise to the fifth dimension. Those currently in the fifth dimension may ascend. This will accelerate after 2012.

He adds that another sudden step in consciousness will take place at 11:11 on the 11th November, 2011. At this moment many will become enlightened. Some will open up psychically, which may cause them to panic. These changes may be frightening for the masses, so those who carry more light will be able to help them, acting as beacons and teachers. For those who are ready there is a great deal to be done and many opportunities for accelerated spiritual growth available.

In between 11th November 2011 and 21st December 2012 there is a period of huge opportunity when the gateway to heaven will be open.

After 2012 people will become conscious co-creators and many will have their full psychic and spiritual gifts restored.

Preparing for the cosmic moments
These are divine moments when anything can happen. Miracles and wonders beyond imagining might take place. At this time anything can happen and this is why the ancients could not see beyond this point. We are due a step change in consciousness.

For some time I have been meditating on the best way to help us all to utilise the cosmic moments, 11:11 on 11. 11. 2011 and 11:11 on 21.12. 2012. The latter is the Friday before Christmas 2012. I was walking a labyrinth when Melchizedek, the head of the Melchizedek priesthood, who is over-lighting the Diana Cooper School connected with me.

Melchizedek communicated that the most effective way to prepare people to receive the energy would be to offer a prayer, then an 11 minute aum, to raise everyone’s frequency. This would be followed by a one minute silence during the cosmic moments.

Melchizedek said that the whole world needs to start now building up the energy for that time.

How to use the Law of Prayer
Remember the Law of Prayer, give thanks for what you ask for with faith that it is already granted. First state your request or vision, then express gratitude, knowing that it is already granted.

Vision prayer for 2012
I have a vision where all people are at peace, fed and housed, every child is loved and educated to develop their talents, where the heart is more important than the head and wisdom is revered over riches. In this world justice, equality and fairness rule.

Nature is honoured, so the waters flow pure and clear and the air is fresh and clean. Plants and trees are nurtured and all animals are respected and treated with kindness. Happiness and laughter prevail and humans walk hand in hand with angels.

Thank you for the love, understanding, wisdom, courage and humility to do my part to spread the light.

May all the world ascend.

So be it.

If we start to do this alone or in groups, by the time 11. 11. 2011 and 21. 12. 2012 arrive there will be a huge build up of light. 12 minutes is possible for everyone and this is suggested as a programme.

Programme for 11th November, 2011 and 21st December 2012
10:59 - vision prayer
11:00 - 11 min aum
11:11 - 1 min silence during the cosmic moment

And after this celebration! When you are celebrating your thoughts are happy, light and positive and this is what is needed at this time.
